FISHY is a Windows-sensitive (95/98/2000/XP/Millennium) catfish production management, historical records, simulation and reports computer program that is written in Visual FoxPro Version 7.0. Fishy 2006 Version 7.0 is the current version. Fishy is used to record and report historical fish farming events such as stocking, feeding, harvesting, moving, and losing fish. Fishy can simulate fish growth into the future, enabling its users to predict future harvest dates, numbers, and weights, as well as future feed needs. Simulated future data helps Fishy users to plan harvest operations, book their feed, and plan fingerling purchases. Fishy can now simulate multiple years of fish growth for an entire fish farm, which can help the fish farmer decide when more ponds should be added.

ü      Gathering and reporting historical production data -- feed fed/purchased, fish stocked, lost, marketed, and moved.

ü      Background information such as feed conversion ratios, percentages of body weight to feed, and a fish-feeding calendar.

ü      Projections of fish growth, giving a future harvesting schedule, and future feed requirements.

This demo can be accessed after filling out the registration page (follow the link at the bottom of this page). The Setup.exe file will install itself on the user's computer, and create a Fishy 2004 icon. The demo will run for 30 days after installation. To use the program after 30 days, a license must be purchased from Catfish Farmers of America.
