This is an example of the interactive budget system. The actual system is made up of many budgets. This page is to be used only to understand how the interactive budget system works. To see other budgets, you will need to signup for an account and use your username and password. HELPFUL HINTS: This is an interactive budget in that it automatically calculates various values based on the inputs you provide. The "Number of acres" textbox is for the number of acres in the farm. This will be used in calculating all the totals and so please make sure you first fill this box. You can change the values in the "ITEM", "UNIT", "PRICE", and "QTY." columns. The "AMOUNT", "TOTAL FARM AMOUNT" and "TOTAL FARM QTY." columns are not editable as these values are automatically calculated and filled based on the values you enter. To cycle through all the textboxes, you may use the 'TAB' key on the keyboard. On pressing this key you will be taken to the next field and calculations are done automatically. Alternatively, you can use the mouse to click on an area of interest and calculations will be done. Please note that pressing the 'ENTER' key on the keyboard will NOT result in any calculations being done and you will continue to remain in the same textbox. If you need to revert back to the Initial/Default values, you can do so by clicking the "Load Defaults" button. Please note that this will overwrite any modifications you might have previously made. If you need a printed copy of this budget, please press the "Print" button. Please note that the printed copy of this budget will not contain these instructions and will be much easier to read. To make sure you get a good, readable print copy, before printing please make sure that your browser's text size is set to "Medium" or lower. This can be done by clicking on the "View" menu on the top of this window >> "Text Size" >> "Medium"
