Dr. Keith H. Coble joined the faculty of the Agricultural Economics Department at Mississippi State University in December 1997. Coble's background in the area of risk management has encompassed both academic and government experience. Dr. Coble came to Mississippi State after serving as leader of the Crop Risk Management Team at the Economic Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington DC. Dr. Coble'sresearch program centers on the areas of risk management, governmentpolicy, and production economics. He teaches Agricultural Policy at the undergraduate level, and at the graduate level he teaches Agribusiness Risk Management, and Agricultural Production Economics.
