Students interested in careers in government, public policy, and law will find a well-defined and exciting curriculum in the Policy & Law concentration. Agricultural and food policy is often complex, and the Department's courses teach students how to analyze and evaluate policies and programs from an economic perspective. Other courses included in the curriculum also provide students with the critical writing and thinking skills they need for success, whether they enter public service immediately or continue their education in graduate or law school. Students can often complete internships with federal agencies or other organizations in Washington, DC, or find numerous other internship opportunities.
