griculture is profoundly affected by the laws and policies enacted in Washington, D.C., and our state capitals. Opportunities are increasing for our graduates to help shape the future here in the United States and abroad.
This new program is designed specifically for those interested in playing a role in the future of agricultural policy and law.
Students get a strong background in agriculture, economics, and political science to prepare for careers in the policy arena or entrance to graduate or law school.
Who would have thought...
The legal profession continues to grow and offer high salaries. Our graduates have a strong track record of performance in law school. Our new agricultural policy and law concentration enhances these opportunities by allowing students to get the strongest possible mix of classes to prepare for entrance exams. Further, the agricultural and applied economic analytical training in this concentration prepares students for a unique niche in the legal profession such as international law, agricultural law, and environmental law.
Our Department has a national reputation for producing students who are ready to perform in the policy and legal arena.
