he MABM Program is a stimulating and unique program jointly offered by the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the College of Business and Industry and is administered through the Department of Agricultural Economics. Students can choose from tracks in finance, marketing, management, economics or international trade. This combination creates a highly marketable degree preparing you for the exciting world of food and agribusiness, marketing, management and finance.


Curriculum:

The MABM curriculum is a mixture of four components:

  • MBA Courses
  • Specially Designed Agribusiness Courses
  • Electives (Based on Track Emphasis)
  • Required Internship

What Our Graduates Do:

Commodities trading, plant management in Honduras, or agribusiness consulting in Russia are just a few of the types of careers possible with a Master of Agribusiness Management degree from Mississippi State University.

Our graduates have gone on to work for a variety of companies and organizations such as:

Life Beyond MABM:

Educational opportunities don’t have to stop after earning your MABM. Many of our graduates have gone on to pursue Ph.D.s, D.V.M.s and law degrees.


Internships:

The required internship provides valuable opportunities for students to explore the world of agribusiness and receive on-the-job experience. Employers look for this experience when considering applicants. The internships are closely matched with the interests and career goals of the individual student.


Financial Aid:

Opportunities exist for a limited number of assistantships awarded on a competitive basis through individual faculty members in the department.


Admissions:

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree and are required to submit a GMAT score. See our website for further admissions information.
